Edmonds Entertainment Group -- headed by president/CEO Tracey Edmonds, wife of Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds -- has formed a label, Edmonds Record Group (ERG), Billboard Bulletin reports. Edmonds had headed Elektra-distributed Yab Yum Records, which has closed. The new label has signed former Yab Yum acts Jon B -- whose third solo album, "Pleasures You Like," will come out on ERG/Sony -- and 3rd Storee, whose second album is due through a distribution deal with Def Jam. Also on the roster are Jack Herrera and Dre Allen. In addition to its Def Jam deal, ERG has distribution deals for various artists with Sony and Priority Records. Jon B's last album, "Cool Relax," peaked at No. 33 on The Billboard 200 in May 1998, and spawned the single "I Do (Whatcha Say Boo)," which topped out at No. 18 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks.
