Brazilian model Luciana Morad got plenty of satisfaction yesterday (Feb. 6) in New York when a Manhattan Family Court official approved a financial support agreement for her son, fathered by Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger.

The agreement's terms were not revealed and the record was sealed, but the lawyers' statements in court suggested that a substantial sum will be provided for Lucas Maurice Morad Jagger, born May 18, 1999, until he is 21.

Raoul Felder, lawyer for the 30-year-old Morad, hinted at the size of the settlement when he asked Family Court Hearing Examiner David Kirshblum to close the proceeding to the news media.

Felder reminded Kirshblum that Morad was from Brazil, where, he said, kidnappings for ransom are frequent. "With these kinds of numbers the child may be in danger," he said, "(Morad) may be in danger herself."

Last summer, Jagger, 57, admitted paternity of Luciana Morad's son, but he balked at paying $35,000 a month in support. He was also hesitant to divulge his net worth, which would have helped the court fix a support amount.
