Jermaine Dupri's So So Def imprint has reached a new deal with Columbia Records, ending rumors that he was shopping the label to other majors, Billboard Bulletin reports. The signing marks the continuation of an 8-year relationship between the two labels.

Dupri, who discovered Kris Kross, Da Brat, and Jagged Edge, has had recent success with 13-year-old rapper Lil' Bow Wow's album, "Beware Of Dog," which is No. 22 on The Billboard 200 in its 19th week.

Upcoming projects for the imprint include new albums from Jagged Edge (which climbs 72-59 on The Billboard 200 this week with the album "J.E. Heartbreak), newcomer R.O.C., and Dupri himself..
