Welsh singer/songwriter David Gray has postponed a short European tour due to an illness in his family. The trek was due to begin Feb. 28 in Madrid and run through a March 8 show in Paris. The postponement is not expected to affect a previously announced 33-date tour of North America, scheduled to get underway April 12 in Minneapolis.

Gray will be touring in support of his breakthrough ATO album "White Ladder," which is No. 41 on The Billboard 200 in its 35th week on the chart. Earlier this week, Gray's own iht label reissued internationally "Lost Songs 95-98," an acoustic album featuring 11 songs written following his exit from EMI after the unsuccessful 1996 album "Sell, Sell, Sell." ATO has plans for a U.S. release of "Lost Songs" in the coming months.

Also on the horizon is a DVD edition of the previously released video "David Gray Live," which will be bolstered with, "Up To A Point," a 52-minute behind-the-scenes documentary of the show, taped last year at the Point in Dublin.
