Jurors in the trial of hip-hop magnate Sean ''Puffy'' Combs spent their second day of deliberations in a New York court yesterday (March 15) rehearing the testimony of a ballistics expert. Detective William Wallace had recreated the trajectories of the bullets fired in a Times Square dance club that Combs and ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez fled after a shooting in late 1999. Three people were injured.

Combs is charged with weapons possession and bribery. His protege and co-defendant, Jamal ''Shyne'' Barrow, is charged with three counts of attempted murder for allegedly shooting three people in the club. Combs' bodyguard, Anthony ''Wolf'' Jones, faces the same charges as Combs.

The jurors ended deliberations yesterday at about 6:30 p.m., more than eight hours after they began. They wrote a note to the judge saying they were ''very exhausted, and any further deliberations would be counterproductive.'' They are to resume today.
