Modern rock act Buckcherry, currently on tour with Monster Magnet, will keep bringing its tawdry anthems to the masses through the beginning of June. The band will open for Monster Magnet until the end of the month, and join AC/DC on May 1 in Madison, Wis. After about week and a half, the group will head off on its own headlining trek, with the exception of a May 20 date with Iggy Pop in Detroit. A smattering of radio festival appearances will be sprinkled throughout the tour.

The band is touring in support of its sophomore DreamWorks effort, "Time Bomb," which debuted at No. 64 on The Billboard 200 last week. "It's a more melodic record than the last one, and it's a little harder," lead singer Josh Todd recently told Billboard. "There's more uptempo songs [because] one thing that bothered us about the first record in retrospect [was that] there's just a few too many slow-to-midtempo songs."

Buckcherry recently wrapped a tour with Kid Rock. The group's current single, "Ridin'," is No. 9 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart this week.
