Tickets for summer tours by some of the world's top female acts are flying out the window. Over the weekend, Madonna sold out 12 European dates, including six at Earl's Court in London (July 4-6, 7, 9-10, 12), four at Berlin's Max Schmelling Halle (June 19-20, 22-23), and two at the Cologne Arena (Aug. 5-6) in Germany.

Several dates for Janet Jackson's All for You tour also went on sale over the weekend with positive results. Jackson sold out an Aug. 17 date at MCI Center in Washington, D.C., and added Aug. 18; sold out Aug. 25 at FleetCenter in Boston and will add Aug. 26; and sold out United Center in Chicago for July 26 and added July 27.

Finally, sales for Sade's first tour in eight years were strong out of the gate. The vocalist sold out a July 23 date at the Hollywood (Calif.) Bowl, Chicago's Allstate Arena (Aug. 9), and New York's Madison Square Garden (Aug. 13). Shows at the American Airlines Center in Dallas (July 30) and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif., (July 2) are headed for sellouts as well.
