Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers have added some 35 dates across the U.S. to what was originally a 14-city West Coast tour, Billboard Bulletin reports. The tour begins May 9, 2001 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore., and will hit arenas, amphitheaters, and such festivals as Summerfest in Milwaukee. The Wallflowers will support on several dates.

The full itinerary is not yet confirmed, but two new dates in Bristow, Va. (June 30) and Holmdel, N.J. (July 1) have been announced. Visit Petty's official Web site for more information and special Internet presale offers.
