Fans are most excited about Stevie Nicks' upcoming North American live outing, according to a recently completed Billboard.com poll on veteran artists' summer tour. Nicks took a commanding 59% of 6,561 votes cast for her trek in support of her new Reprise album "Trouble in Shangri-La," which debuted last month at No. 5 on The Billboard 200, and stands at No. 30 in its fourth week on the chart. As previously reported, the tour kicks off July 6 in Burgettstown, Pa., and runs through Sept. 1 in Columbus, Ohio.

Leading the rest of the pack is Eric Clapton's ongoing tour, with 9% of the vote, followed closely by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, with 8%. As reported earlier this week, Petty will be joined on the second leg of the tour by Jackson Browne.

Rod Stewart's summer run tied with the Lynyrd Skynyrd/Deep Purple/Ted Nugent tour, with each taking 5% of the vote. The Journey/Peter Frampton/John Waite tour pulled in 4%, as did the Styx/Bad Company/Billy Squier package. The double-bill of Paul Simon and Brian Wilson grabbed 3%, tying with perennial summer touring outfit Yes.
