Warp Records labelmates/electronic experimentalists Squarepusher and Plaid will team for a North American club tour, set to kick off Aug. 7 in Vancouver and wrap Aug. 31 in Miami. Both acts are supporting new albums; Plaid with "Double Figure," out since last month, and Squarepusher with "Go Plastic," due Tuesday (June 26).

Squarepusher mainman Tom Jenkinson programs, plays, and twists every sound on his records, which doesn't give him much of a safety net when playing live. Still, he tells Billboard.com he is excited to embark on his wide-scale North American jaunt. "A lot of the stuff that's influenced me over the years has come from here and I wouldn't want to put something back into America that was sub-par," he says.
