Squeeze mainstay Glenn Tilbrook has laid out a pair of brief tours in support of his first solo album, "The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook." Following a pair of U.K. dates with his band and one solo appearance there, the tour will touch down July 23 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif. Dates in Australia begin with a Sept. 6 show at Sydney's Bridge Hotel. He will not be joined by his band on the newly announced dates.

Released last month in the U.K. by Quixotic Records, "Incomplete" is due for an August release in the U.S. by What Are Records? (W.A.R.?). While he has spent most of his career writing with fellow Squeeze member Chris Difford, the new set finds him both writing alone, as well as with several others, including Aimee Mann, Ron Sexsmith, and Chris Braide. The set features bassist Andy Metcalfe (Squeeze, Soft Boys, David Gray), who co-produced the set with Tilbrook.
