Swedish singer/songwriter Robyn has signed a worldwide deal with Jive, Billboard can exclusively reveal. The 22-year-old artist scored in 1997 with the top-10 hits "Do You Know (What It Takes)" and "Show Me Love," released internationally on BMG (RCA in the U.S.).

Robyn is expected to release her third album (her second in the U.S.) in the first quarter of 2002. It will be issued by Jive/Zomba in all territories except Scandinavia, where it will go through BMG. Subsequent albums will appear on Jive/Zomba worldwide.

Prior to that, Robyn will appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming Miramax film "On the Line," which is produced by A Happy Place, the firm headed by Lance Bass of fellow Jive act 'N Sync and the group's manager, Johnny Wright. The Jive soundtrack drops Sept. 25; the movie opens Sept. 28 in U.S. theaters.

"It's going to be a challenge to take things forward, because now I have to do it again and differently and even better," Robyn says. "But I'm happy to get back to work. I feel very inspired and hungry."
