Grammy-winning country artist Tim McGraw has added a new recipient to the list of beneficiaries of his 8th annual Swampstock Celebrity Softball Challenge and Concert, set for Oct. 28 in Rayville, La. The New York Police & Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund will receive proceeds from the charity event, which McGraw has held annually since 1994.

Swampstock 2001, which will feature musical performances by McGraw and his wife Faith Hill along with Martina McBride, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and the Warren Brothers, was already scheduled to distribute proceeds to Rayville Dixie League Baseball and the Steve Colvin Memorial Scholarship Fund.

In addition to the concert and the softball game, a silent auction will be held on the site, featuring items signed by sports and country music stars.

Last year's event featured performances from McGraw and Hill, Jessica Andrews, Billy Gilman, and the Clark Family Experience.
