Alt-rock mainstay Live is planning a North American headlining tour to follow its previously announced string of support dates on Jane's Addiction's Jubilee tour. The new dates come on the heels of the group's fifth MCA/Radioactive album, "V," released on Sept. 18.

The Pennsylvania quartet will also take time out during its 12-date Jane's Addiction opening stint to play four European dates in mid-October, including an Oct. 11-13 stand in Rotterdam, Holland. North American dates are set to begin Oct. 26 in Los Angeles.

"V" debuted at No. 22 on The Billboard 200 album chart, compared to a No. 4 bow for 1999's "The Distance to Here." The new album's first single, "Simple Creed," is No. 14 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart this week.
