Sting has begun lining up tour dates for a winter jaunt in support of his live Interscope/A&M album, "All This Time," due Nov. 20. Thus far, the singer's official web site has confirmed six dates, including two benefit appearances. The trek is slated to begin with a Dec. 6 performance at New York's Beacon Theatre, while shows in Denver, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas are also among the early round of dates.

On Dec. 10, Sting will take part in the Elton John AIDS Foundation Benefit at the Universal Amphitheater in L.A. Full details have yet to be announced. Two nights later, Sting will perform at the Silver Lining Silver Lake Benefit at locations in L.A.'s artsy Silver Lake community. The benefit is reported to be a three-day event featuring John, Jaguares, Jurassic 5, and the Nortec Collective, among others. Official updates will be posted on the benefit's Web site, due to be activated soon.

As previously reported, "All This Time," renamed from "... on such a night," was recorded on Sept. 11 in Tuscany, Italy, in front of a small number of invited friends and contest winners. A Webcast was initially intended, but due to the terrorist attacks on that day it was limited only to the song "Fragile." A companion DVD will be released in early December.

Alternate editions of the album will be released for multiple international territories. The U.S. version will include 15 career-spanning tracks, including the Police's "Roxanne" and "Every Breath You Take." "Fragile," which will be serviced to radio stations as a single, opens the set.

Cable TV network A&E will air a Sting special at the end of the month, featuring rehearsal footage from the Tuscany concert and clips from the show. Broadcast dates have not been announced, but Sting's official site will post them as they become available.
