Tim McGraw, George Jones, and Lee Ann Womack are among the new confirmed performers for the Oct. 21 Country Freedom Concert to benefit victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Set to take place at Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center, the event also boasts newly added performers Vince Gill, Clint Black, Lonestar, Charlie Daniels, and Sara Evans.

These newly confirmed artists will join previously announced performers George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and Martina McBride at the show, which will be broadcast live beginning at 8 p.m. on CMT and CMT Canada. Westwood One will provide a radio simulcast to stations around the world.

All proceeds from the Country Freedom Concert will benefit the Salvation Army's Disaster Relief Fund. In addition, ticket proceeds, toll-free phone lines and Web sites have been established to collect contributions from viewers and listeners during and after the show.

Tickets to the event, which range from $25 to $1,000, go on sale Friday (Oct. 12) at 11 a.m. via Ticketmaster. For more information on the Clear Channel Entertainment-produced event, visit the company's official Web site.
