Country legend Johnny Cash was hospitalized Sunday in Nashville, diagnosed with bronchitis. "It doesn't look serious, but because of his condition we don't take any chances," his manager Lou Robin said. The 69-year-old singer was listed in stable condition today (Oct. 10).

Cash suffers from autonomic neuropathy, a disease of the nervous system that makes him susceptible to pneumonia. He's been hospitalized with the condition four times since 1998.

A six-time winner of Country Music Association awards, Cash was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1980.
