Priority Records will on Dec. 4 issue a best-of compilation from veteran rapper Ice Cube. "Ice Cube Greatest Hits" will comprise tracks culled from Cube's eight Priority solo albums and one soundtrack, a cut from his side project Westside Connection, and two new tunes.

One of the new tracks, "In the Late Night Hour," was helmed by omnipresent production team the Neptunes, while the other, "$100 Bill Y'all," was produced by Rockwilder and was issued to radio yesterday (Oct. 17) as the compilation's lead single.

A founding member of groundbreaking rap quintet N.W.A., Ice Cube left the group in 1989 to work on his own music and start an acting career. His latest studio album, "Peace," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart last year.

As previously reported, Cube will write, co-produce, and star in a third installment of the "Friday" series of movies. The film, "Friday After Next," is due for a Thanksgiving 2002 release.
