Up-and-coming modern rock outfit Linkin Park has confirmed plans for a North American headlining tour to follow its stint on the Family Values tour, which wraps Nov. 17 in Tacoma, Wash. The new dates begin the next day in Vancouver and run through a Dec. 6 date in Seattle. X-ecutioners, (hed)pe, and DJ Ztrip will support.

Linkin Park is touring in support of its latest Warner Bros. album "Hybrid Theory," which is No. 7 in its 52nd week on the chart. Current single "Crawling" is No. 12 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 20 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart this week.

According to its official Web site, the group will be seen on two MTV network shows in the coming days. On Saturday (Oct. 27), Linkin Park will host MTV2's "Rock Respects Hip-Hop," which features hip-hop videos hosted by rock acts. MTV will also air a Family Values special on Nov. 5, featuring live footage and behind-the-scenes clips.
