Emerging U.K. R&B star Craig David will spend a large portion of December touring the U.S., performing at a series of radio station sponsored holiday concerts. The itinerary includes 12 shows in 19 days, including two stops in New York (Dec. 13 for Z100's Jingle Ball and Dec. 18 for WKTU's holiday concert). Prior to the U.S. run, David will perform a pair of Australian dates -- Saturday (Nov. 17) in Melbourne, and a week later in Sydney.

As previously reported, the artist is also set to take part in Elton John's Dec. 12 fundraiser The Concert - 20 Years of AIDS, to be held at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. The event, which will raise money for AIDS Project Los Angeles and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, will also feature performances from Sting, Bon Jovi, matchbox twenty, Alicia Keys, LeAnn Rimes, Pete Yorn, and Rufus Wainwright.

David -- who will perform Thursday night (Nov. 15) on CBS' "The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn" -- is touring in support of his debut album, "Born To Do It," released in the U.S. by Wildstar/Atlantic. The album, which peaked at No. 11 on The Billboard 200, is No. 86 in its 16th week on the tally.

The set has spawned two singles so far. "Fill Me In" peaked at No. 15 on The Billboard Hot 100 and No. 19 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, while new single "7 Days" is No. 21 on Billboard's Rhythmic Top 40 chart and No. 16 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles list.

The video for "Fill Me In" earned two honors at the Billboard Music Video Awards -- best dance new artist clip and best R&B new artist clip, the latter in a tie with India.Arie's "Video." David is also nominated for a pair of My VH1 Awards in the best kept secret and the big in Japan categories.
