To promote its stable of young artists, Motown is staging the winter Motown Lounge tour with headliner Prophet Jones, whose single "Lifetime" has been near the top of Billboard's Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles for the past month. The brief outing will begin Nov. 28 in Rochester, N.Y., and take the four-artist tour around the East Coast and Midwest until mid-December.

Joining Prophet Jones on the small-venue jaunt will be female hip-hop artist Sharissa, R&B balladeer Remy Shand, and Detroit rapper Lathum. All three artists will be releasing their debut Motown/Universal albums next year, with Sharissa's dropping in late February and albums from Remy Shand and Lathum set for April releases.

Prophet Jones released its self-titled debut album in mid-September, when it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. The R&B quartet has just released a second single, a cover of the O'Jays' "Cry Together," for which a video is currently being shot, according to a spokesperson.
