The eighth volume in the "NOW! That's What I Call Music" compilation series is being dedicated in memory of R&B star Aaliyah and those who lost their lives in a tragic plane crash in August. A portion of the proceeds from the disc, which is due out Tuesday (Nov. 20) and includes the late artist's track "Rock the Boat," will be donated to the Aaliyah Memorial Fund. Details of the fund are available on the official Aaliyah Web site.

It's not Aaliyah's first appearance on a "NOW!" disc, as her No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Try Again" was featured on fourth volume of the series. Released in July 2000, that set was the first compilation of previously released music to top The Billboard 200.

To date, three volumes of the "NOW!" series have entered The Billboard 200 at No. 1. In August, "NOW! 7," which had the highest opening week sales of any of its predecessors, selling 621,000 copies in the U.S., according to SoundScan; "NOW! 6" and "NOW! 4" also debuted on top of the chart.

The latest "NOW!" disc features 20 tracks, including "Bootylicious" by Destiny's Child, the Wiseguys' "Start the Commotion," Janet Jackson's "Someone to Call My Lover," "I'm Real" by Jennifer Lopez, "Walk On" by U2, "Crush" by Mandy Moore, the Backstreet Boys' "More Than That," and "Clint Eastwood" by Gorillaz.

Distributed by Virgin Records America, the compilation is a cooperative project between the EMI Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and the Zomba Group of Labels.
