Irish vocalist Ronan Keating and U.S. teen vocalist Mandy Moore will co-host the inaugural MTV Asia Awards Feb. 2 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Billboard Bulletin reports. World Wrestling Federation star the Rock will also serve as a guest host along with other Asian hosts and presenters yet to be announced. MTV is billing the event as Asia's biggest music awards show ever. Keating is nominated for international favorite male artist.

Winners will be selected by MTV viewers across Asia through an open poll that began Nov. 12 and which runs until Jan. 18. There will be awards in specific categories for each of 10 Asian territories as well as honors for international acts popular in the region. Fans can see the full list of nominees and vote online at the event's official Web site.

The gala marks the first pan-Asian awards ceremony for both MTV and the region. MTV currently hosts such presentations as the CCTV-MTV Music Honors in China, MTV Penghargaan in Indonesia, and the MTV Mandarin Music Awards in Taiwan.
