The Strokes Firm Up International Tour

New York-based rock act the Strokes have solidified more than a month's worth of international tour dates in support of their RCA debut, "Is This It."

New York-based rock act the Strokes have solidified more than a month's worth of international tour dates in support of their RCA debut, "Is This It." The trek begins with three previously announced dates in Japan, and is followed by 22 dates in Europe, beginning Feb. 23 in Leeds, England, and wrapping March 31 in Dublin.

Beforehand, the group will join Guided By Voices for Dec. 30-31 shows at New York's Apollo Theater, and will make a Jan. 19 appearance as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." Actor Jack Black (Tenacious D, "Shallow Hal") will host.

"Is This It" is No. 137 on The Billboard 200 in its eighth week, and has sold 138,000 copies in the U.S. to date, according to SoundScan. The single "Last Nite" is No. 16 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.
