The new dates come sandwiched between a previously announced stint on the Big Day Out tour of Australia and New Zealand that begins Jan. 18 in Auckland, and a 20-date European tour starting March 5 in Coimbra, Portugal.
System Of A Down is touring behind its latest American album, "Toxicity," which jumped 47-30 in its 17th week on The Billboard 200 last week. The single "Chop Suey" is No. 8 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and is nominated for best metal performance at this year's Grammy Awards, to be handed out Feb. 27 in Los Angeles.
