More than 30 artists, ranging from country (Dixie Chicks, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn) to classic rock (Bob Dylan, Styx, REO Speedwagon), R&B (Destiny's Child, Brian McKnight, Mary J. Blige), and Latin (Juanes, Kumbia Kings) will grace the stage during the 70th RodeoHouston. Set to begin Feb. 12 at Houston's Reliant Astrodome, the two-and-a-half week event will feature nightly concerts, as well as more than 60 of the top male and female rodeo riders engaged in competition.

The Dixie Chicks will kick off the concert series with a Feb. 12 show. Other highlights include Neil Diamond (Feb. 13) Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, and Nickel Creek (Feb. 23), as well as Feb. 22's Black Heritage Day, featuring Brian McKnight and Mary J. Blige, and Feb. 24's Go Tejano Day, with Los Tigres del Norte and Ramon Ayala y Sus Bravos del Norte.

Tickets for Strait's March 3 finale are already sold out, and at deadline, a few tickets were still available for the opening night Dixie Chicks show. All other shows go on sale Saturday (Jan. 12) via Ticketmaster. For more information, visit the official RodeoHouston Web site.

This will be the 37th and last year that the event is held at the Astrodome. Beginning in 2003, RodeoHouston will move to the as-yet-uncompleted Reliant Stadium.
