Rock/rap bad boy Kid Rock will launch a U.S. tour next month in support of his latest Lava/Atlantic album, "Cocky." While the only confirmed dates so far are the Feb. 22 opener in Saginaw, Mich., and a Feb. 24 show in Toledo, Ohio, the trek is expected to last into May, and a summer tour is also in the works.

Another 30 cities and venues have been announced, but exact dates and on sale information for those, as well as for additional stops, has not yet been finalized. Plans call for tickets for most of the shows to be in the range of $20, according to Atlantic.

Tickets for the Saginaw and Toledo concerts are set at $28.50 before fees, and will go on sale Saturday (Jan. 19) via Ticketmaster.

"Cocky" debuted last month at No. 7 on The Billboard 200. The album is currently No. 21 in its eighth week on the chart, and has sold 983,000 copies in the U.S. to date, according to SoundScan. Lead single "Forever" peaked at No. 18 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 21 on the Modern Rock Tracks tally.

New single "Lonely Road of Faith" was recently sent to U.S. radio outlets for airplay consideration. A supporting video clip incorporating footage from the artist's recent performance for U.S military forces stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany has been added to MTV.

Last week Rock appeared on the broadcast of the 29th Annual American Music Awards, performing the "Cocky" track "Lay It on Me." Additionally, he recently taped an episode of Country Music Television's "CMT Crossroads" series with Hank Williams Jr. That episode, the second of the cable channel's new monthly series, will premiere Feb. 17.
