Hard rock act Drowning Pool will headline the inaugural Jagermeister Music Tour, which kicks off March 8 in Orlando, Fla., and is scheduled to run through an April 24 date in an as-yet-undetermined location. Coal Chamber, Ill Nino, and a local band will support. Jagermeister will be giving out various prizes and CD samplers at each show, while the company's Web site is sponsoring a contest to catch the tour in Las Vegas.

Drowning Pool is touring in support of its Wind-Up debut, "Sinner," which peaked at No. 14 on The Billboard 200 and has sold just shy of 1 million copies in the U.S. to date, according to SoundScan. First single "Bodies" hit No. 6 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart last August; current single "Sinner" is No. 39 on the tally in its 10th week.

Coal Chamber is due to release its third album, "Dark Days," this spring via Roadrunner. It's the follow-up to 1999's "Chamber Music," which bowed at No. 22 on The Billboard 200. Eclectic labelmates Ill Nino are touring behind the album "Revolution/Revolucion," which is No. 42 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart this week. The single "What Comes Around" is No. 28 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks survey.
