The show's first season recently won best TV series - drama at the Golden Globe Awards, while Rachel Griffiths won best supporting actress for her role as Brenda.

The first single from the soundtrack will be composer Thomas Newman's "Six Feet Under Title Theme," two remixes of which -- by Photek and Rae & Christian -- are also available on the album.
