Long-dormant alternative rock act the Breeders have announced a May 21 release date for their third Elektra/4AD album and first since 1993's "Last Splash." Titled "Title TK," the album will feature the new Breeders line-up of twin sisters Kim and Kelley Deal on vocals and guitars, guitarist Richard Presley, bassist Mondo Lopez, and drummer Jose Medeles. As previously reported, the album was produced by Steve Albini (Nirvana, PJ Harvey).

The group is currently on a short U.S. promotional tour -- its first outing with the new line-up -- which hits Philadelphia tonight (Feb. 8) and New York's Bowery Ballroom tomorrow and Monday. According to Elektra, the Breeders are also planning to tour the States this summer in support of the new album.
