Rapper C-Murder (real name: Corey Miller) has pled not guilty to charges of second-degree murder in connection with the January shooting death of a teenager at a nightclub in Harvey, La. A grand jury last week indicted Miller, whose trial has been set for April 15. Miller -- the younger brother of hip-hop mogul Master, remains in custody in Gretna, La.

Police said as many as 300 people were inside the nightclub when Miller pulled out a handgun and killed 16-year-old Steve Thomas with a single gunshot. There was no indication that Thomas had pulled out a weapon, and the reason for the argument was unknown, authorities said.

At the time of the shooting, Miller was out on bail on an unrelated attempted-murder charge.
