LostProphets and Apex Theory will hit the road next week on an MTV2-sponsored tour. The U.S. tour will kick off March 19 in San Diego and close May 7 in Albuquerque, N.M. Party rocker Andrew WK will join the tour for shows between March 29 and May 5.

"Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja," from LostProphets' 2001 debut Columbia album "Fake Sound of Progress," is one of the tracks featured on the first "MTV2 Handpicked" compilation album. Released in January by Sony, the 18-track set also features songs by Travis, Radiohead, Cake, Ryan Adams, Dashboard Confessional, Tenacious D, and others.

While on the tour, Apex Theory's debut DreamWorks album, "Topsy-Turvy," will be released. Due April 9, the set follows the group's self-titled five-track EP, issued last October by the label. Andrew WK's highly anticipated sophomore album, "I Get Wet," is due March 26 via Island.
