Dave Matthews, Vince Gill, Lyle Lovett, and Emmylou Harris are among the artists that have signed on to salute country legend Willie Nelson at a special April 14 concert at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. The event will be taped for May 6 broadcast on cable network A&E and will find the guest artists supported by Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler's backing band.

Also confirmed to appear are matchbox twenty's Rob Thomas, Brian McKnight, Ryan Adams, and Lee Ann Womack, with other acts due to be added. Tickets go on sale Saturday (March 16); those who purchase a $75 ticket to Nelson's April 12 show at the Ryman will receive one free ticket to the A&E taping.

The participating artists have worked with Nelson on a variety of musical endeavors over the years. McKnight, Thomas, and Womack made guest appearances on Nelson's latest Lost Highway album "The Great Divide," while Matthews is on the board of directors of Farm Aid, which Nelson co-founded with Neil Young and John Mellencamp.

Nelson has a full slate of international tour dates on tap through late July, beginning March 21 in Laughlin, Nev. European appearances begin June 1 in Birmingham, England.
