ZZ Top will hit the road next month for a mini-tour of U.S. casinos. The trek will be the band's first since canceling the final leg of its XXX World Tour last May when bassist Dusty Hill was diagnosed with Hepatitis C.

The tour kicks off May 4 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J. Shows in Uncasville, Conn., Albuquerque, N.M., Las Vegas, and Alpine, Calif., are also on the itinerary.

Sunday (April 21) will see the premiere of the "CMT Crossroads" episode featuring ZZ Top and country duo Brooks & Dunn. The latter act is among those who covered ZZ Top songs for "Sharp Dressed Men," the forthcoming 15-track homage to the Texas rock trio. Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakam, and Hank Williams Jr. are among the other country acts contributing tracks to the set, due April 30 via RCA.
