Alanis Morissette has expanded the itinerary for her summer North American tour, which, as previously reported, will kick off May 1 in San Diego. Singer/songwriter Ryan Adams will support through May 18, with opening acts yet to be confirmed for the remainder of the shows. Morissette will also play a handful of European dates from May 19-28.

Pre-sale tickets to some shows are available through the artist's official Web site. In addition, five pairs of front row tickets to each show are being auctioned on eBay, with proceeds benefiting the women's rights organization Equality Now.

Morissette is touring in support of her latest Maverick set "Under Rug Swept," which is No. 26 on The Billboard 200 this week. The artist recently shot a video for next single "Precious Illusions" in Los Angeles with director Francis Lawrence.
