Everyone from Celia Cruz and Marco Antonio Solis to Ozomatli and Elvis Crespo will be on hand May 9 in Miami to serve as presenters for the Billboard Latin Music Awards. The star-studded affair will air May 12 on Telemundo at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Also lined up to present some of the 30 awards that will be handed out are La Mosca, Graciela Beltran, Melina Leon, Maria Conchita Alonso, MDO, Brenda K. Starr, Fulanito, Jon Secada, Luis Fonsi, MSM, Frankie Negron, and Rogelio Martinez. Others scheduled to appear are NBC soap opera stars Matt Cedeno and Eva Tamargo Lemus, and Telemundo personalities Lorna Paz, Natalia Ramirez, Gabriela Spanic, Catherine Siachoque, Andres Cantor, Laura Bozzo, Roberto Angelelli, Javier Gomez, Protagonistas de Novela, Ana Maria Polo, Graciela Mori, Alfonso de Anda, Kenya, Luisa Fernanda, and Pita Ojeda.

In addition, the performance list for the event has grown to include one of Mexico's leading stars, Ana Gabriel, and Latin pop sensation and Telemundo novela star Litzy. They join previously announced performers Celine Dion, Marc Anthony, Thalia, Juan Gabriel, Los Tri-O, Jaci Velasquez, Cristian, A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia Kings, Victor Manuelle, Carlos Vives, Olga Tanon, Alexandre Pires, Alejandra Guzman, and Lupillo Rivera.

Rivera leads the field as a finalist in six Billboard Latin Music Awards categories. Gabriel is a finalist in five categories, while Velasquez and Cristian are each finalists in three. Finalists, and the eventual winners for the 13th edition of the awards, are determined by the actual sales and radio airplay data that informed Billboard's weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated Feb. 17, 2001, through this year's Feb. 9 issue. The Billboard Latin Music Awards will be the final event of the 13th annual Billboard Latin Music Conference, set for May 7-9 at the Eden Roc Hotel & Resort in Miami Beach. Among the artists who will showcase their talents during this year's conference are Peruvian singer and actor Gian Marco, singer/songwriter Jorge Moreno, Argentinian rock band La Mosca, Jodi Marr, Claudio Corsi, and Nicole Chirino.

Angel Lopez, former lead singer of Son By Four, will preview material from his forthcoming debut solo album, while others who will perform include Starr, singer/songwriter Alejandro Montaner, rising teen star Nayer, Spanish singer/songwriter Jordi, Gerardo, singer/songwriter/choreographer/DJ Noel, and Icaro Azul.
