Veteran reggae artist and ska pioneer Toots & the Maytals, whose "Pressure Drop" has been covered by the likes of the Clash and the Specials, will headline the One Love Festival, a U.S. reggae tour that will hit venues in 22 cities. Jamaican superstar Luciano and his 13-piece Jah Messenjah Band will also appear on the full circuit, due to launch May 24 in San Francisco and wrap June 16 in Atlanta.

Other artists on the tour include Tanto Metro & Devonte, whose "The Beat Goes On" (Shocking Vibes) is currently No. 4 on Billboard's Top Reggae Albums tally, and DJ group Stone Love. Israel Vibration will play West Coast dates, while Tony Rebel will join the tour in the Midwest and the East Coast.

Tickets are currently on sale for most of the dates. Presented by the Agency Group, the One Love Festival is planning to tour overseas in 2003.
