Blues legends B.B. King and Bo Diddley, as well as contemporary blues stars such as Jonny Lang and Marcia Ball, will be on hand for the Doheny Blues Festival next weekend in Dana Point, Calif. Produced by Omega Events and sponsored by Miller Genuine Draft, the event will take place May 18-19 at the 62-acre Doheny State Beach park.

Also on the bill are Charlie Musselwhite, Little Richard, Los Lobos, Junior Brown, Terrance Simien, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers, Roy Rogers & Delta Rhythm Kings, the Blue Flames, and Candye Kane, among others. New to this year's festival is the Backporch Stage, which will feature such artists as Diddley, King, and Musselwhite, performing acoustic sets and storyteller sessions.

A portion of the proceeds from the event -- which will also include a food court and a merchandise area -- will benefit the San Clemente, Calif., chapter of theSurfrider Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the oceans, waves, and beaches.
