Rawkus has set a June 4 release date the third edition in its "Soundbombing" compilation series. Mixed by Cipha Sounds and Mr. Choc, the disc features unreleased cuts by the likes of Mos Def, the Roots featuring Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, and the Beatnuts, among others.

According to the label's official Web site, the album's singles will be "The Life" by Styles P. & Pharoahe Monch, "Crew Deep" by Skillz featuring Missy Elliott & Kandi, and "Put It in the Air" by Talib Kweli featuring DJ Quik. Other tracks include Mos Def's "Freak Daddy," Novel's "They Don't Flow," and "Round & Round Remix," by Jonell featuring Method Man, Kool G Rap, and Monch.

Rawkus' original 1997 "Soundbombing" compilation introduced many of the label's signature artists to a wider audience, including Mos Def and Kweli -- who later formed the group Black Star -- and Company Flow. "Soundbombing, Vol. 2" continued the series in 1999, featuring exclusive cuts from Dilated Peoples, Beat Junkies, and a then-unknown Eminem.
