Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson has lined up five dates for his maiden North American solo tour, beginning June 19 in New York. The artist wraps a brief European trek tonight (May 29) in Paris. Robinson will be playing acoustic guitar at the gigs, accompanied only by another musician on slide guitar.

Expect to hear new tunes such as "Silver Car," "Untangle My Mind," and "Mint Tea," which are likely to appear on Robinson's solo debut. A label and release date for the as-yet-untitled set have not been finalized. Billboard.com understands that Robinson will not be featuring any Black Crowes material, but has been trotting out such covers as Bob Dylan's "You're a Big Girl Now" and Traffic's "Evening Blue."

As previously reported, the Black Crowes began a hiatus of undetermined length in January and its members are working on various unrelated projects. The band's most recent recording, a cover of the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," appeared on V2's soundtrack to the film "I am Sam."

Here are Chris Robinson's tour dates:

May 29: Paris (La Boule Noire)
June 19: New York (Bowery Ballroom)
June 20: Philadelphia (Theatre of Living Arts)
June 22: Washington, D.C. (9:30 Club)
June 23: Boston (Paradise)
June 24: New York (Bowery Ballroom)
