Modern rock outfit Third Eye Blind will join Goo Goo Dolls for the second leg of the band's North American summer tour, beginning July 29 in Phoenix. The group will be on board through a Sept. 13 closer just outside its San Francisco hometown. Look for Third Eye Blind to unveil material due to appear on its upcoming Elektra album "Crystal Baller," tentatively set for an October release.

As previously reported, frontman Stephan Jenkins is producing the set with assistance from bassist Arion Salazar and engineer Jason Carmer. Up-and-coming rocker Andrew W.K. guests on the track "F***ed Up Kid," while the Moldy Peaches' Kimya Dawson adds vocals to "Self Righteous." Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst has also co-written and will play guitar on the track "Misfits."

The Goos hit Atlantic City, N.J., tomorrow (June 7) with opening act Sense Field in tow. The current leg of the trek ends July 2 in Seattle.
