MCA has set a July 30 release date for an album of songs inspired by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway play "Topdog/Underdog." The set is led by two new songs from the play's co-stars: Mos Def's "Three Card" and Jeffrey Wright's "Lincoln's Blues," written by playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. Other tracks expected to appear are Jay-Z's "Change the Game," DMX's "No Love 4 Me" and "Bring Your Whole Crew," and the Wu-Tang Clan's "Let My Niggas Live" featuring Nas.

The soundtrack will be rounded out by a host of R&B, soul, and blues tracks, such as Muddy Waters' "Got My Mojo Working," Howlin' Wolf's "Poor Boy," Robert Johnson's "Hellhound on My Trail," John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom," Son House's "Grinnin' in Your Face," Wayne Shorter's "Genesis," and James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World," "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," and "Payback."

"Topdog/Underdog" centers around two orphaned brothers named Lincoln and Booth struggling to transcend lives mired in crime. The play will open in Los Angeles this November.
