Dave Matthews Band will release a concert CD/DVD via RCA this holiday season. The album is still untitled but will be drawn from a July 11, 2001, show in Boulder, Colo. Counting DMB's half-live, half-studio debut album "Remember Two Things" and the Matthews/Tim Reynolds double-disc "Live at Luther College," this is the sixth Matthews live release. Last year's "Live in Chicago 12.19.98" debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200.
According to noted DMB fan site Nancies.org, the show's set list encompassed a number of then-unreleased songs that will appear on the band's upcoming RCA album, "Busted Stuff," including "Big Eyed Fish," "Bartender," and "Digging a Ditch." The show was also heavy on songs from last year's "Everyday" album, such as the title cut, "When the World Ends," "If I Had It All," and "The Space Between."
As previously reported, "Busted Stuff" is due July 16. The band heads back out on the road beginning July 5 in West Palm Beach, Fla. The new album's first single, "Where are You Going," is No. 12 on Billboard's Adult Top 40 Tracks chart and No. 24 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks tally this week.
