Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room Sunday night (Oct. 2), her spokesperson confirmed to Billboard.

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," her spokesperson Ina Treciokas said.

The robbers took valuables worth several millions of dollars, mostly jewelry, police told the BBC, noting, "The total amount is still being evaluated." The incident happened around 3 a.m. local time in Paris at a discreet luxury residence behind the Madeleine Church, where Kardashian stayed at least once before, in 2014, before her marriage to Kanye West. Police were guarding the site Monday.

According to a Reuters report from Paris, the robbers gained entrance to the hotel after threatening the night guard with a gun. After entering her room, they "put a handgun against her temple" and tied her up using packing tape.

Kardashian is attending Paris Fashion Week with her mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian. West was in the city with her until Wednesday.

Kim had been sharing photos on social media of her stepping out to fashion shows all week, including one earlier Sunday with bodyguard Pascal Duvier that reads, "This guy is always in my shot!"

She attended the Balenciaga show Sunday, and her Snapchat shows her back in her hotel room and on Facetime with her brother, Rob Kardashian, and his fiancee Blac Chyna -- wishing them a happy baby shower -- by 8:30 p.m. ET (2:30 a.m. Paris time).

Earlier in the week, the reality star's bodyguards quickly intervened when serial celebrity accoster Vitalii Sediuk lunged at her as she entered a Paris restaurant.

West abruptly ended his set early Sunday night at the Meadows Festival in Queens, New York City. He was scheduled to perform until 10 p.m., but ended his set at 9:40, halfway through the song "Heartless," announcing: "I'm sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show."

The promoters of the festival, Founders Entertainment, released a statement about the incident: "Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set. We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close out the inaugural Meadows Festival. Our thoughts are with West and his family."
