Los Angeles-based hard rock quartet Coal Chamber is midway through a summer tour in support of its third album, "Dark Days," released in May via Roadrunner. The tour, which kicked off June 12, hit the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. last night (June 30) and continues tomorrow at Norfolk, Va.'s NorVa.

The tour's current slate of engagements run through a July 31 date in Portland, Maine, though more dates are expected to be announced. Coal Chamber is accompanied on the jaunt by similar-minded metal groups American Head Charge, Flaw, and Medication.

"Dark Days," which debuted at No. 34 on The Billboard 200 in May, has spawned the single "Fiend," which the group recently performed on "Late Night with Carson Daly," marking its first appearance on national TV. For more information, visit Coal Chamber's official Web site.
