Having just wrapped a headlining stint on Honda's Civic Tour, California-based modern rock outfit Incubus has unveiled plans for a fall North American jaunt. The 39-date tour will largely visit secondary markets not hit on the Civic run, beginning Aug. 31 in Reno, Nev., and due to last through November. Shows are currently set through Oct. 31 in Irvine, Calif.

The group is touring in support of its latest Epic album, "Morning View," which is No. 75 in its 36th week on The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.7 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The single "Warning" is No. 5 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart; earlier singles "Wish You Were Here" (No. 2) and "Nice To Know You" (No. 9) also cracked the top-10 of that tally.

According to the Incubus Online Web site, the band plans to begin writing and pre-production on its next studio set following the fall dates.
