Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter Paul Westerberg will kick off his Come Feel Me Tremble tour July 25 at the John Anson Ford Theatre in Los Angeles. At deadline, 14 U.S. dates were confirmed for what will be his first tour in more than six years, although more are expected. The artist will also perform tonight (July 9) on NBC's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien."
The trek comes in support of Westerberg's Vagrant album "Stereo." Released in April, the set debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and No. 81 on The Billboard 200. The title comes packaged with a second disc, "Mono," credited to the former Replacements leader's side project Grandpaboy. As previously reported, Westerberg spent part of April performing for fans in record stores across the country to herald the release of "Stereo."
"I'm more prepared to go and actually play music now than I was four years ago, when I was supposed to last time," Westerberg told Billboard in January. "And, even a year ago, the thought of performing in public would have made me physically ill, but I've finally come around to it."
