The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Filter, Jimmy Eat World, Unwritten Law, and Default are just a few of the acts that will be taking part on various dates of the forthcoming North American Molson Snow Jam tour. The fourth annual music and extreme sports event will make two-day stops in nine Canadian and U.S. cities this year, starting with a July 19-20 visit to the HSBC Arena in Buffalo.

Fans can expect the bill to differ each night in each city, with Pennywise, Bif Naked, the Pharcyde, Greenwheel, Swollen Members, Earshot, the Kickovers (with former Weezer bassist Mikey Walsh), Dropkick Murphys, and Sloan among additional acts set for various stops. Molson's official U.S. Web site also notes Matthew Good Band, Tantric, Reel Big Fish, and Treble Charger as participants, although confirmation of their appearances on any of the dates could not be confirmed at deadline.

Along with music, organizers will truck more than 100 tons of real snow into each venue to build a six-story quarter pipe for snowboarding and freestyle skiing exhibitions. Other extreme sports represented include in-line skating, BMX biking, and skateboarding, while festival-goers will also be treated to a host of vendors, interactive games, and displays.

Tickets to the Buffalo stop are on sale via Tickets.com, while ducats to the Aug. 2-3 Detroit event can be obtained via Ticketmaster. More information on the U.S. stops and remaining on sale dates can be found at Molson's official U.S. Web site.

Tickets to the Aug. 9-10 Calgary Snow Jam extravaganza can be purchased via Ticketmaster Canada. For information on the remaining Canadian tour stops, visit Molson's official Canadian Web site.
