A host of acts from the Thrill Jockey roster will descend on New York Sept. 5-7 to celebrate the eclectic Chicago-based label's 10th anniversary. The event kicks off at Irving Plaza, with performances from Tortoise, Trans Am, Fred Anderson, Bobby Conn, the National Trust, and the Chicago Underground Duo.

The next night at Irving Plaza, Tortoise will play its own set and then back singer/songwriter Sue Garner for two songs. Mouse On Mars, 8 Bold Souls, Radian, Town And Country, and Eleventh Dream Day (playing an infrequent live set) will also be on the bill. The final show, to be held at the smaller Bowery Ballroom, will feature the Sea & Cake, Freakwater, the Archer Prewitt Band, Radian, Rick Rizzo and Tara Key, and the Lonesome Organist.

A video display from Japanese electronica artist Nobukazu Takemura and DJ sets from Tone B will grace all three shows.

As previously reported, the Sea & Cake's next album, "One Bedroom," is complete and is now set for an Oct. 8 release. Tortoise is also working on new material but no release date has yet been set for its next project, which may be an EP.
