Jazz pianist/vocalist Diana Krall will issue her first concert recording "Diana Krall -- Live in Paris," in October via Verve. Recorded December 1, 2001, at Paris' Olympia Theatre, the album finds Krall and her band (guitarist Anthony Wilson, bassist John Clayton, and drummer Jeff Hamilton) being joined by John Pisano (acoustic guitar) and Paulinho DaCosta (percussion) for a number of songs.

The album is the audio companion to the VHS/DVD release of "Diana Krall -- Live in Paris" (Eagle Eye/Pioneer Entertainment), which was issued in April. It will include two tracks not featured on the video -- "Fly Me to the Moon" and a version of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are," the latter of which is slated for inclusion the upcoming soundtrack to the movie "The Guru."

Other cuts on the live album include the Joni Mitchell song "A Case of You," the Gershwin standard "S'Wonderful," and Krall originals "East of the Sun (West of the Moon)" and "Devil May Care." The Orchestre Symphonique Europeen joins the artist for "Let's Fall in Love" and a rendition of Cole Porter's "I've Got You Under My Skin."

As previously reported, Krall is in the midst of the second leg of her tour in support of "The Look of Love" (Verve), which debuted last September at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Jazz Albums chart and a career-best No. 9 on The Billboard 200. She played Istanbul, Turkey, on Sunday and will start the U.S. portion of the tour Thursday (Aug. 15) in San Diego.
